NCS Welcomes New Singers!

The Newburyport Choral Society welcomes new singers to our musical family each season. Singers range form high school age to adults and the only requirements for membership are a love of singing, commitment to learning the music, and a willingness to participate in the life, health, and well-being of the chorus.

As an active member you will experience a rewarding atmosphere of creative outlet, expanding horizons, and warm camaraderie, as well as a sense of cultural and artistic community.  NCS presents two major choral concerts annually in December and May and participation in our performances will leave you breathless!

An audition for voice range placement is required for new members. Rehearsals are held on Monday evenings from 7:30 pm – 10:00 pm at the Rupert A. Nock Middle School in Newburyport, MA.

Singer Registration

Singer registration begins at 6:30 pm on the first Monday of September & the first Monday after the New Years, and extends for three consecutive Mondays at Rupert A. Nock Middle School, the choral rehearsal venue.

Information on Dues, Tickets and Music fees are  located on the registration form. Download the Spring 2012 Registration Form and fill it out prior to the first rehearsal. Spring 2012 registration begins Tuesday, January 3rd & extends through Monday, January 9th & 16th.
